Maui is home to some of the most inspiring, hardworking, and compassionate women—leaders, mentors, and changemakers who shape the very heart of our island through their dedication and aloha. This March, we gather to celebrate their strength, wisdom, and resilience at Wāhine Kaulike: Celebrating the Balance Women Bring to Maui—a powerful evening of recognition and gratitude you won’t want to miss!

This is more than an event—it’s a moment to reflect, connect, and uplift the incredible wāhine who make Maui a better place every day. Through heartfelt storytelling, live music, and powerful recognition, we’ll celebrate the balance and strength that women bring to our island community.


Mayor Richard Bissen’s Special Address We’re honored to welcome Mayor Richard Bissen at 6:30 PM for a special address and presentation of Special Recognition Certificates to our honorees. His presence highlights the profound impact these wāhine have made in business, education, advocacy, and community leadership.


Keynote Speech by Captain Kekai Brown Captain Kekai Brown—a trailblazing leader and an inspiration to future generations—will deliver a moving keynote, reminding us of the strength found in resilience and the power of women in leadership.


Live Music & Lei Ceremony Celebrate the spirit of wāhine with live music by Maui's beloved Sheryl Renee and a heartfelt lei ceremony honoring the extraordinary women who have shaped Maui through their vision and service.
