As of 2022, US women still earn almost 20 percent less than men, and over 42 percent of women face gender discrimination at work. Women of color make up nearly 50 percent of the minimum wage labor force. And even though 67 percent of women consider mentorship a crucial factor for their career advancement, sadly, only a small number ever receive professional support from their peers.
